Penalty or Fund balancing!
EU Citizen Requirement and the frequent demand of US visa have given rise to penalty.
US immigration has now planned to charge a nominal amount to the EU
while traveling to US. This is discouraging to European. $ 10 although
a reasonable but each time paying it is very discouraging to them. The
EU citizen has to already pay while he moves to US for a longer span of
time and additional charges is just a penalty for each. Traveling to US
is a need to EU citizen of which the immigration have taken advantage,

These funds that will be collected will be used for the development of the programme to promote travel to the US.
Method of payment
* The $10 charge would be payable when Visa Waiver Program travelers register their journeys on the ESTA online system.
* They must do so at least 72 hours before travelling to the US
* They must renew their registration every two years if they wish
to continue to travel to the US, paying $10 each time they register.
